Financial Haven, Inc is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit credit counseling agency that was founded to help individuals gain control in their finances by using credit counseling, financial education, and debt management plans. We take pride in enhancing lives and creating solutions for people in need of financial relief. Financial Haven, Inc is working to decrease the wealth gap in our community by creating financial literate individuals and more homeowners.

We are looking to fill the position Marketing/Social Media Coordinator. The Marketing/Social Media Interns or Volunteers will be responsible for creating new content that will distribute Financial Haven's message and values. Interns will review and update the Financial Haven Marketing/Social Media Plan, update print materials, update and maintain social media, while increasing and fine tuning our social media marketing presence on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, and e-newsletter. Interns/Volunteers will participate in professional development workshops and networking opportunities when offered by the organization.

Preferred Experience: Experience in Digital Design or Online Marketing

-BA in Marketing, Journalism, English, and other mass communication disciplines OR working towards completing undergraduate degree

Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, and/or other social media sites

Good verbal communication and writing skills

Ability to work 10-20  hours per week

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Be self-motivated, organized, willing to help with any project no matter how large or small, and be able to balance multiple priorities at once

Marketing Major Preferred and Excellent Communication Skills
